The robotics club is a futuristic innovation that is solely aimed at encouraging students and faculty to discuss prototypes and advancements in the field and test robots that they choose to create on their own or with others. This club is mentored by different professors across respective departments and the club has scheduled meetings twice a month. This club is involved in many different projects and is highly ambitious.
Among the future set goals of this club is the development of a basic autonomous robot. The students shall learn to program the Arduino microprocessor for controlling the robots and interface the Arduino to various components such as sensors and motors. Further to this, more sophisticated robotic innovations are a part of the plan for the future. In the future, the group is prepared to be all set to participate in competitions and events that shall promote further interest and knowledge gathering.
